Default Shelby drop + coil cutting???

I've lowered the rear sufficiently with reverse eye leaf springs, but can some one give me the run down on the shelby drop? Or should I just cut coils? I'm going to put new shocks in, and the scheduled date for starting all this stuff is next weekend. Help?

The Shelby drop should be done no matter what....it helps with the handling and decrreases body roll when cornering. Its not a hard mod to make, but must be done correctly. The mod itself will lower the front end about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. If you need or want more drop than that, then Isuggest new springs...dont cut the old ones. I did and am sorry for doing it. Just about every Mustang parts house has lowering springs. Thats the correct way to go.

You can do the Shelby Drop but it won't lower your front end all that much. Not as much as the rear was dropped. Have you considered 620# springs? Between those and the Shelby mod, you should get at least 1-1.5" drop

ive got the the 620 coils and they are quite stiff, i plan on doing the drop later but my rear is stock which needs to go way down with some reverse eye springs(look higher than it is due to the flares)

all you need to do is drill holes 1 inch exaclty below the current control arm holes. they have templates online youcan print out and transfer.

When you replace the CAs make sure you use a Pickle Fork. It will make getting those ball joints off ALOT easier that without one.

My friend and I have tried the beat it with a hammer method. Tried for over 3 hours on 1 side and nothing happened. Got pickle fork and it took only 30 minutes.
