Default 1970 mustang, electrical problems.

so i was on my way to a show the other day when i went across an intersection and all of a sudden my car died. EVERYTHING electrical is gone, now i can't find out whats wrong with it. i've checked the battery, load and all, it's good what else could it be? any thoughts anyone?

If everything just went at once, it could be the ground to the block. Follow the negative cable form the battery and make sure it's connected to the block.

So it just "up and died"? won't crank, lights won't come on, etc? Check the plug over by the master cylinder for tightness. Check the batt connections, check the battery. all the power goes into the car thru that plug.

One of the most common causes of electrical failures are bad grounds,Most people neglect these and think they are not important because they are so simple.
Battery to frame,frame to engine,engine to firewall,not in that oreder just make sure they are connected to those points. good luck
