subframe connectors
im thinking about welding on some subframe connectors while my car is completely apart. does anyone have any pics of theirs? i can either get weld on or bolt on. the bolt on are more expensive. which is weird cause i would rather weld them on and i think its stronger so its odd that theyre cheaper.
these are the bolt on ones. it requires drilling.
heres the weld on ones. i still see some holes. so do the weld on ones still need bolts too?

I did the bolt on but welded them on. I got mine from NPD for $99. Use the shop manual specs to make sure all the frame rails are where they are supost to be before you put the subframe connectors on it will be a bitch to move them after words. Both types of connectors have a hole in them for the rear spring eye bolt.

These "1965 - 1973 Mustang Subframe Connectors", from Tinman Fabrication, were weld in and fit perfect. No floor cutting or beating was needed like most other require. Great 120.00 purchase! A number of people here have used these ones.
ok so im cancelling my npd order and i ordered the tinman ones. the installation sounds MUCH easier than the cheap ones. they sound like they fit the contour of the floor a lot better.
