1966 Coupe Restomod
On Saturday I cleaned, painted, and installed the strut rods along with the front sway bar. Today I installed the Granada spindles, the flaming river cross member, and attempted to install the rack and pinion.
I ran in to an issue when connecting the tie rods to the spindles. I had to push the R&P unit all the way in from the driver's side (wheels turned to the left) just to get the tie rod to connect to the driver's side spindle. This actually made the spindle straight instead of turned. The passenger's side spindle was turned slightly to the right instead of straight. I think they gave me the wrong tie rods or i'm just and idiot.
What do you guys think?

1. The shop that did the work is Crook Brothers Body Shop in Paramount, CA.
2. I am in Orange County, CA
3. I spent a lot on the work... but they replaced the roof, the front floor pans, and made my car look bad ***.

Holy crap almost a year since my last post...
Laziness, vacation, money, and traveling for work nearly 3 months straight took a lot out of workin on the car.
I recently started again and got the front suspension complete, installed new front brake lines, installed the power brake booster, and covered the floor pans with bed liner. I PLAN on working on her more and more so I can be ready for summer drives.
Anyway just thought I would update you guys.

So i'm reviving my thread once again. This time the excuse is that I bought a house a year ago and, well, it has taken my time and money. The family has to come first (sometimes lol).
Small udpate:
I bought a 9 inch rear with 3.25 gears that I will be installing within a few weeks. First I want to clean up the bottom of the car.
Anyway sorry for the lame update, just wanted to say hi.
