1966 Coupe Restomod
I have decided to createa thread to track the progress of my car's restoration. I will not be doing any of the body work and paint myself because I don't know how and I don't want to learn on my classic Mustang.
Here are a few pics of the car when I purchased it...
A couple of weeks ago I gutted the interior and took out the motor and trany so the shop that is going to do the roof transplant, floor pans, body work, and paint could pick itup.
I got a call today and theytold me the roof wasoff so i went down to snap a few pics...
They told me by next Friday the donor would be in then they will send it out to get media blasted. More pics and updates to follow...

cutting the roof off is far more complex and dangerous task then mixing a 2.2.1 (or whatever) paint and spraying it on.
Hope you have lots of fun working on her
Happy hunting.

I've done a fair amount of research with regards to the roof replacement. I think i'm getting a great deal with what the shop is charging me to do the roof (under $1500).
When I first bought the car I actually thought about turning it into a convertible but then I got lucky and found a roof.
