So I was looking on Craigslist the other day and i saw an ad for a '67 coupe that the guy was parting out. I need/want a few different things and the ad said it had the deluxe interior. I have always wanted a floor console but had never seen a repro one and the originals usually go for 500 to 900 dollars on ebay for a good, complete '67-'68 console. I called the guy to see if he had one and he said he had the floor and roof console. I asked him how much he wanted for them and he told me 400 for both and that they were in good shape. I told him i would meet up with him today to look at them. I called him today and he said that he had made a deal with someone else for the roof console. Pissed, I ashed him what he wanted for the floor console. He said "umm a hundred". "I'm on my way" I told him. I went to look at it and ended up giving him $75.00 for it. I got it home and cleaned up the stainless and dyed the base of it to match my interior. I am very happy with the way it turned out and I'll get some pics tomorrow at the car show (my first one with the car .)

 

That is a very good deal. Repro for 67-68 is 999.
