Default modifying 66 mustang

In looking for kit to go from 2bbl to 4bbl for my 289 engine I see that Edelbrock has 2 kits. One is lsited as "air-gap" and I have NO CLUE what this means. I am lucky I know the engine sits under the hood. Any help is much appreciated and thanks for your patience.

air gap manifold is a more of a high performance intake.

for a stock 289 or 302, a performer RPM would be best.

the air gap means that there are gaps under the take ports of the manifold for air to flow underneath and cool.

love the air gap it rocks. There are many options you could look into, I suppose the real question is what do you really wanna get out of it? What do you wanna use it for?
