Its sad when I need a chase car just incase if I break down. She was limping and backfiring the whole time, but meh! I can't time it untill tomarrow after school.

does only one of your tailights work?
at least both of your doors open, it sort of takes away all apeal when you have to crawl over to the passanger side to get out of your car like i do.

Nah, I snapped the corroded brake light sensor terminals off, and the right socket is snapped. The wiring could be bad too, I think they both worked when I got them.

My passenger door doesnt have a handle on the inside, and the window is stuck down. It evens out though, the window is allready down when the passenger goes to reach out to use the door handle on the outside.

Why is your engine spitting and sputtering? Do you know what's wrong with it?

The timing is WAY off. I had the distributor loose yesterday, and tuned it to my ear, just so it wasnt backfiring so bad and dieing. I can't get ahold of a timing gun untill today. Even then, im afraid that I will still have this problem once its timed.

I couldnt pass up an opportunity for a drive though, running good or not.

I thought you had the engine out to get overhauled. I must be dreaming, or have you mixed up with markstang1969.

Im the one with the 6cyl current, and the 351w being built.

Markstang is the one with the '69, with the 302 out being rebuilt or whatever hes doing. AKA, "mustanger of the month".

Ah, ok. So that simple 6 banger is running rough? Dang, kid. Can't you get that 6er tuned in about a nano second? Good grief, I guess I am going to have send you to school for you to get some learning on how to tune a 6er.

Haha, bring it old man!

It keeps backfiring no matter what the timing is set at. I think I might be a tooth off or something..

Anyways, going to fill her up (hopefully I can deal with the cracked rear gas filler elbow [:-]), and taking her on a drive. I washed her, even though the paint is horrible so it doesnt matter, but i'll get some pics.

If im not back in 5 hours, call a search team, because im stranded with a dead Mustang on a side road! [8D]

Yeah, sounds like you have a screwed dizzy gear. Take out all your spark plugs and clean or replace them. If that doesn't work, then clean or replace your points with either new points or the pertronix system, and if that doesn't work, then the dizzy needs replaing with a new pertronix. Good luck with it kid. I'm pulling for ya. *the old man*
