Sorry to hijack the post, but what is a true 429SCJ worth. I know of 375 horse 429 SCJ mated to a C6. It has the original Holley from the factory. The guy wants $900.

For $900 dollars Valley I'd jump on that quicker than, "White on rice in a glass of milk, on a paper plate in a snow storm." As Major Payne would say.

The only Numbered blocks I can think of are what Ford called specialty blocks I.E.289 hi-po's/302boss/429boss,429thunderjet,428CJ/SCJ ETC...
SO there should be some numbers on it that will tell you what it is,Where those numbers are and what they decode into I have no idea,You may want to cross reference some part numbers you find like on the manifold, water pump, Things like that.
I will search the internet for a bit to help you out and tell you if I find anything.
