Eww clutch
Well my boss just finished his 68 FB and he let me drive it. He has a 4 spd on the 289. I don't like the clutch feel at all. I'm not sure how he has it set up, I assume its like original though.
I will be doing a T5 on my 351w. Will I still get the same feeling with the cable style? Or should I go with the hydraulic setup.
Guess I'm used to modern hydraulic clutches[&:]

Uhh....I can see just fine in my 67fb in just about all directions. The overlap between the rear view mirror looking out the back window and the left side view mirror eliminates any blind spots there, and the rear window is wide enough to make the right rearblind spot small enough to not matter as long as I pay attention to people coming up on my right. I don't even have a right side view mirror:P
Having learned how to drive stick on my 67, I hate modern clutches. They have almost no feedback compared to the mechanical linkage style. Pedal effort was slightly reduced when I switched to a diaphragm clutch and removed the under-dash assist spring, but I might go back to a long-style clutch and replace the spring next time I swap clutches. My left leg could use the exercise anyway
