ORIGINAL: 1965fastback

A 200 would get close to 20-25, a 302 about 15 or less.
Not true, I could get 20 all day long with my 302 in my car if I babied it around. It was all bone stock, but the engine was practically new, and I always kept itin tune.

I get 13 with my 347 if Im cruising at about 70 MPH and I don't hammer it any. I have a C4 with a 3000 stall converter and had a 3.00 gear (when I checked the milage anyway), but I was always in the converter or running in 2nd gear, which didn't help any. Now I have the 3.73 gear and Have yet to check it, but I believe it gets the same or possibly slightly better if I stay under 75 MPH.

My old 289 got about 15-18 mpg, I just switched to a 351C 2V and have yet to drive it. I'll update once I do.

Fordication,

408W is a 351 Windsor bored .030 over with a 4.0 stroke.The408W, 383W, and 393W are very popular strokers based on the Windsor block. With a Dart block, you can bore and stroke a Windsor upto 455CID without block strength, overheating,or clearance issues.
