Hi all,

My 73 coupe is entering the paint stage (3K code). The vinyl top replacement is next. The top was white, so the color code is H. But, what was the grain? The old roof is long gone (removed and thrown away) so I have nothing to compare against.

I've heard of elk, lamount and tuxedo grains. Are any of these what was used on the old Mustangs?

Does anyone have a link to a discussion on the vinyl roof types?
