is it me or is something wrong with this mustang back light or is it someone crazy fabrication

That was mod which originated with the factory tail lights on Thunderbirds. They had three tail lights on each side which activated sequentially from the nearest to center to the farthest out, basically pointing to the direction you were turning. I saw a few mods back then on Mustangs which did the same thing. Looked cool at night but crappy in the day light...just too many tail lights.

 

Very interesting, looks kinda like they were trying to go for the shelby look with the ducktail and big taillights...

 

I have to laugh at the "buyer responsible for picking up the vehicle, I have no way of delivering it" when he's gotabig ol'ram 2500 in the background

 

Looks like it used to have a vinyl top and a functional hood scoop which was removed.

 

Has to be a shelby-inspired mod, it's got the ducktail rear spoiler to go with it. To me it looks like they copied the three existing holes and put another set on the inside of them to put a second set taillights in them. Maybe a cheap eleanor?
