Default 1970 shocks

Just had a friend in my 70 mach the other day and he said that the shocks were gone in it and I trust him since hes had mustangs since the early 70s. So I would like to know what are the best shocks to get for it, both front and back. Im not looking to race the car just when i get down on it its nice to be able to romp when needed. any help would be appreciated.

I use the ones from autozone, but KYB is a good shock company.

Monroe gas shocks are good quality and fairly priced.

I like the KYB's too. I did notice though when I went from a 235 55 to a 235 45 front tire the ride did get a little rougher since there was not as much meat on the front end. But I still like them.. It sticks to the road pretty good

I would go with the kyb's for your application, gas-adjusts. They are pretty inexpensive and should be exactly what you are looking for.
