Default Tire Troubles

I ordered 15x7 Magnum 500 (4.25 BS) wheels to replace the 14s with hubcaps quite a while ago. I just recently bought tires and they dont fit, so before I screw up a second time, will a 215/65/15 (recommended by a friend) fit all the way around without any issues? suspension is stock as far as i know, and it has all drum brakes. I am getting ready to order these so I want to make sure that they will fit first.

edit: whoops, its a 66

These are 215/60-15s on the same wheels.
I'd go a little shorter than 65's.

215/60/15 is what I run with 4" backspacing. I've done the Shelby Drop and occasionally the fronts rub at the top. It only happens when the wheels are turned and I'm going up a driveway type ramp or entrance. I think with 4.25" and no drop you will have no problems. Especially if you go with the 60 series. They're still pretty big diameter wise. I like the tall tire because that's what the stylists had in mind when they designed the car. O-rings are for ricers.
