Smile Wiring for Voltage Regulator 1969

Hi!
I have some problems with the charging for on my Mach 1 1969 (351w 4V)
The alternator gives out to high Voltage but I dont know for sure if the Regulator is brooken or if it´s wrong connected. I just bought the car and dont have any wiring diagram.
Can you please help me out with the wiring between alternator and regulator. Thanks!!

Here are some links from the old FAQ. The diagrams in these links should help you out. They helped me get my wiring straight. You can also get some good diagrams in the Shop manuals and assebly manuals that NPD carries. Check out the FAQ section at the top of the forum. I think there is a link to the old complete FAQ up there too.

The voltage regulator shouldn't be wired wrong, the connector only fits one way. It's a simple replacement too, just two screws and costs less than $20, so easy to fix if it is the problem.

If you are not overly concerned about originality,,, you might want to consider a one wire alternator...

Thanks! I will check the connector and just replace it.
