3 point harnesses
I put three points in my '66, both front and back seat.
I have 7 year old twin boys who obviously wanted to ride in the car and their mom was having no part of it until they had three point belts.
If I had a K-code car or something along those lines then no way I would have installed them. But mine is just a plain jane '66 Coupe.
You can purchase the kits pretty easy from just about any parts supplier. Can't remember where exactly I got mine from but I am pretty sure they came from Virginia Classic Mustang.

I have them in my 70... they are years old now and they don't retract quite like they originally did... but they're safe enough till I put in a rollbar and 4 point harnesses this winter.
Not at all. I see it as a very smart thing to do. I hate the damned annoying things but still. Below are the belts I bought and a number of others here have them as well.
This site: http://wescoperformance.stores.yahoo.net/resebe.html
and its the 3 Point Retractable Seat Belts with Long Sash Guide about 1/2 way down that page
Its 69.95 per seat, so you'll need to order 2 of them for the drivers and passengers.
Nice lap belts for the rear at the bottom of that page also
