Default replacing my rear quarter panels

Hello All:
I joined today and would like to say hi,and have a question about rear quarter panels.
I restored my 68 fastback in 1989 with repro panels,I see now they make a full rear quarter panels. Does anyone have any good or bad stories about using them and who sell the best ones, and who should I avoid buying from.
Thanks
Andy

welcome to the forum. I replaced my drivers side quarter and I had a few fitment problems but nothing too drastic. I got mine off E bay but I would think that any of the parts houses should have what you want.

Hey i have replace both Quarters on my 65 coupe i can tell you that i orderd two sets from a crappy vendor cuz they were cheap... big mistake horrible fitment... Then i orderd mystuff from NPD paid good money for quality and they look great no fitment issues just take your time and make sure it looks good before you weld.

The last time I replaced them I used coupe quarters and spliced them right below the top body line. That was a lot of body work(but was all that was available). Now 20years later the body work is bubbling not bad for how long it lasted. The full quarter should make life a lot easier with welding and finish body work. I see that almost everyone sells the full quarter now. some say go to dynocore and aviod places like npd,but I have used npd before and had no problems. thanks andy
