wow ill drop out of school, and replace 64-67 motor mounts all day at 500 a pop. I bet at the end of the first week average replace time per side would be 10 min.

end of problem, $33 a piece. A bit tight getting them lined up the first time, but they're very firm. Not solid, so they won't vibrate badly, but much heavier than the stock ones. That's what I have and haven't had any issues with them at all, whereas I'd go through 2-3 sets of stockers a year.

Wow, I didn't know Lakewood made those. Good find I may need to pick up a pair of the 68-70 mounts from them; I just noticed my stock replacements are shot at like 12k mi.

Talking

Not to hijack the thread but for $500.00 they better be putting in some Ron Morris ones, or at least something better than stock.

Speaking of which, (here's where I go a bit off topic.) I haven't found any reviews on comparisons of aftermarket motor mounts. I've been looking at the TCP ones but Ron Morris looks great as well.

Any thoughts on the aftermarket selection in motor mounts? Non-stock of course.

Thanks,

Yes the 67 has its own mounts and yes most part stores will give you the 68 mounts thinking they will work and don't.The ron morris are worth the money.Lakewood has made motor mounts for a while they look stock but are stiffer have had a pair in my truck for 2 years now.

Here's a link to the motor mount information on our website. (Yes, I work for TCP/Chassisworks.) No, direct comparisons to offer, but hopefully this will answer any questions you might have. If not, ask away.

Yeah, I have those same exact mounts, only mine have the red urethane. I got them from NPD as well and they were $15 cheaper than mustangs unlimited.
