Default A/T to M/T swap

So I posted a thread a few days ago with this title and no one replied, which was no big deal. In that time I have however, come in to possession of a 5spd transmission from a 1990 mustang that had been bolted to a 2.3L. So the question is, will I be able to use this on my 79 351w with any difficulties? Also, does anyone know anything about Maverick parts? Thanks!

from my limited knowledge, you will need a new bellhousing to adapt to 351w

gearing is an issue and it wont hold up for the amount of power your 351 will produce

Thanks! That means I can get it out of my shop! Haha. The maverick parts are a clutch assembly and I was just curious to see if it would fit in my 70 coupe.
