Default shelby interior question

Do all 67 GT350's lack a center console? I know the rally pack style shelby gauges are supposed to be mounted under the radio bezel, but if a console is present do they get mounted above the steering column like a traditional rally pack, or is there just never a console is Shelbys

Pretty sure the 67 Shelby's didn't come with a floor console. Not an expert on this however I'm fairly sure. I'm sure a few others will pitch in verify for you.

Checkout the nvsaac.com gallery. Car #8 I simply drool over!

The 68 Shelbys had a console that had the gauges mounted in it. I haven't seen a 67 that had a factory console. I want a 68 console. Does anybody know if anybody is repopping those?

The 67 gets the gauges under the dash. These are re-poped and can be had from Tony Branda or Mustangs Unlimited. The 68 console can be bought also as a re-pop but it will vary just a little from the original. The "Green Stripe" gauges are also re-poped simular to the originals. You can match the 67 almost dead on however the 68 console had a couple that are very hard to find. The "Alternator" gauge is very rare and unique to the 68 as well as the "Oil Pressure". I have seen them sell for 2k. They are also Green Stripe's that are very close and can be used insted of the originals. Most people would not know the difference.
