Default Finished Hood

Finally after over 2 months I have finished my turn signal hood for the mustang. Took some bondo, which i didn't want to put on, due to paint not drying after over 1 month in storage. So here are the final pics. Painted Jet Black.

I can't to be honest. They want too much for my car color paint.

+1 to painting the cowl black to go with it, thats the first thing that I thought of. But the turn signal hood looks great, definitely a must for a 67 or 68 car in my opinion. good job!

I will have to talk to my dad about doing the cowl. He is the one who sprays the paint, I just have to buy it. I am not using the turn signal assemblys. I am using the hood to let more air into the engine compartment. So I have the bulb holders that I am not using. It cost me 20 a quart for the black we used. There isn't a bit of that left, so that would mean 20 more dollars just for the cowl.

It may stay like this until right before next summer. I am getting it painted before my senior pictures for high school. I am looking at the 67 Trans Am paint style.
