Default Need rack suggestions

Who here has installed a rack and pinion setup? I am looking into putting a rack into my 69 fastback. I am up in the air between manual and power. How is a manual for steering around town driving? That was my only concern for going to the power setup. Any reccomendations for manufactors?

Driving around town is just fine with a manual steering system. It's when you want to parallel park or make a three-point turn that you'll wish you went with power steering.

It's kinda difficult or inaccurate to group all manual racks into one group when comparing road feel, effort, and response. The racks currently available vary pretty widely in regards to pinion-to-rack gear ratio, total travel, and the resulting number of turns lock to lock.

If a manual rack "feels almost like power", then it's probably not very responsive or somewhat limited on travel and turning radius in order to maintain a higher mechanical gearing advantage and reduce steering effort.

I have already decided when I do swap out and go with a R&P it will be a power one b/c of the reasons stated above. Having said that in my search, so far, the TCP ones look really nice and get great reviews.
