can someone measure their 66 hood for me,..

across the front (where the headlights are)
across the back (across the cowl)
and front to back...

i do not have the car near by, and before i make any stupid decisions i want to check something,..

(thinking out loud...i have a chance to pic up a 68 mustang hood with turn signals,...the hood is in GREAT shape the frame is shot,...take it apart and try to skin a 66 frame with a gt350 scoop,...hmmmmmmm)

 

i was thinking about doing that..... not sure about the dimensions though, gimme a sec and ill measure

 

45.5 front side to side
52.5 front to back
48 rear side to side

all within about 1/4in or so..

you may have to cut a lil bit of the turn signal hood cause i beleive its wider than the 66 but it shouldnt be that herd to do i wouldnt think

 

those are almost the exact measurements of the 68 hood
