Mine was replaced before I got it. I think if they could have fixed they would have. I can't imagine any way to fix one. There is no real structure to it to try to fix.
The quality of the urethane used 40 years ago was primitive. All original cars that were parked outside have baked/cracked/warped dashes. If you really want to restore the actual original dash, you would need to make a 68 dash mold and get super involved; or you can get an repo dash for $139.00.
