power door lock actuators
Sorry, its been a while since I was finally able to post these pictures.
This is for anyone interested in adding power door locks to your Mustang. It's a standard door lock actuator that sells for less than ten dollars per door. I hooked it up to my car alarm for keyless entry.
I took off the split loom to take the photos, but I recommend putting it on the wires.
The actuators are attached via the two screws that are the upper left corner of the opening.
As you can see, once the door panels are attached, screws are not visable anymore.
PS. You can put the screw holes anywhere underneath the door panel, I would just make sure that it is parallel with the door lock rod. The hardest part is finding and bending the right angle for the new actuator rod.

I want to say that they do have them at most car audio places. If you cannot find them locally, just order some on ebay. I just seached and you can get a pair, one for each door, for about ten dollars. They are simple two wire installation, although you usually have to use a pair of relays from the switch or alarm.
