A) Keep the caps key turned off.

2) There are no such thing as 4V 289/302 heads.

III) The best differential for you is going to depend on how you drive the car. Is it a street vehicle? Daily driver? Weekend strip car? Track toy? I'm tempted to recommend a Detroit TrueTrac right off the bat, but if you're only driving it occasionally on the street and more often than not to the strip, a locker may be better for you.

I'd say its a 351M engine from a 70 car.

Eaton/Detroit make pretty good stuff. The Detroit TrueTrac is a limited slip diff that uses helical gears. The Eaton Posi LSD is a limited slip diff that uses clutches. I know a few guys running the Eaton LSD with 500+hp. It will wear out the clutches, but is a pretty good diff. I like the idea of the Detroit TrueTrac since there are no parts to wear out, but I have not seen it work and do not know how much power it will take before it crumbles.

The TrueTrac and Torsen are not limited slip. Limited slip differentials, like Positraction, Traction-Loc, and Auburn, are so named because they have clutches that slip.

Sorry, pet peeve:P
