69 Clear Headlight Covers
I don't like it. That's just not how these cars are supposed to look. Do it if you want, but don't expect it to improve aerodynamics. The major aerodynamic problem is the giant grille and the fact that all the air that goes in smacks straight into the firewall. The second problem is the windshield that's flat and is almost vertical.

Aerodynamics have their limit. Too many modern cars are totally aerodynamic and save a ton of gas if you don't mind driving a jelly bean. The Mustang's recessed headlamps are the #1 distinctive feature of the car. I don't even like the covers on the 2008.

I have seen some stuff like that on trans am type race cars that have covers on their lights.
I think the ones I saw were black or smoked and on a 70 Mustang.
I don't care for it though. The Mustang's style and body lines would be ruined. I also agree that its aerodynamic benefits negligable.
