Default Fix a muffler baffel?

I have a question. I have all my probs fixed on my engine. However, One more prob just popped up. The passenger side muffler was making a rattling noise. I was not rubbing aginst anything, so we decided it was in the muffler its self. The muffler has been replaced about 10 years ago. There is no rust on the outside of the muffers. However, Is there a way I can open the muffler to see what baffel is shaking...

Please let me konw what you guys think.

Thanks!

It would probably be easier to just buy new mufflers.

not anyway i could think of without some welding skill. ya best bet is just to buy new ones. cherry bombs are cheap if you want old style glass pack sound (bout $25 each) or get some nice flowmaster super 44's for around $80 each

Even with a couple years of welding experience I wouldn't even bother. You would have to open it up, and have a perfect seal. Just seems like more of a hassle.

Just replace 'em, they are cheap enough.

Some jurisdictions do not permit such repairs to mufflers anyway.

If you have an I6, I recommend glasspacks. Sounds freakin awesome.
