Default 1970 coupe restoration

hey guys, this is my first post here...

This car is my friends, and I'm helping him restore it..pics to come soon. The car sat for 12 years and when he brought it home, it had no oil in it. I got the engine running, and it sounds decent. The car has ALOT of body rust and we both are very good friends with the local high school body shop. I dont think the shop will take on a project this big pro bono if you know what i mean. So i was going to present it to the students in parts. What i want to know....is if worst comes to worst, if i take the body panels apart, take the body off the frame...what am i looking at for cost at the most. I could get my hands on a welder and him and I could do all of the labor. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I'm not the guy to ask about all that, I'm more of the Mustang History Buff, but Welcome to the forums.

Well its a unibody there is no frame to take off.Price depends on how much rust there is and who does the repair.Could be 2 grand or 20 grand Just need pictures of how bad the rust is to even give a guess.
