Agreed! Dude,show the car! It looks good man! When I show my car, I always just wa;k around and look at other cars, and when somebody is looking at mine, I'll kinda walk over and "look" at it too. I never tell them its my car unless they actually ask. If they don't know its yours then they will be more honest about what they really think about it. Good or not. If they start bashing it, jyst say that you like it for the reasons you do, but like I said, you don't have to tell them it's yours.Im not saying you should be ashamed of your car, it very pretty, but its hard for somebody to be honest when they know the owner is right there.

 

Do not worry about that anyone says! Most of those purist are so analretentive anyways. I get sh#t all the time from them when I tell the I am putting a complete Heidts mustang II suspension kit, four link rear suspension kit, subframe conectors, and frame stiffener in our 66 Mustang. Then when I tell them I put a 86 SVO 2.3 turbo motor in it and I tell them it should get around 28 to 30 mpg or better they about Sh#t themselfs. They say I am ruining the car. But I say they made a Million of these things.
It is funny the Magazines that have gotten ahold of me about the build, think it is the coolest build ever and can not believe no one has not done it before. Remember this is YOUR car and what ever YOU do to it is OK. No matter what there will always be someone that will b#tch about something. The funny thing is most of them have never built a car, don't even own one, or are just jealous that they can not do it. So I say more power to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Local Car shows are all about modified cars. Odds are there will be more modified cars there than concours. YOu'll be right at home.

As for those who sweat the paint daubs on their driveshaft... we let them participate too*S*
