Coil Spring ?
So i've had my 235/45/17's up front for a while now, but every now and then on a higher speed dip in the road the tires will rub. The front coil springs are stock. I have a set of progressive 620 drop springs in the garage i have been thinking about installing, do you think this will make the rubbing worst off or eliminate the rubbing? Im hoping since they are progressive that they will hold up well.
if theyre brand new they will set the car up higher than it is now cause the stock ones are worn out and sagging. so youll have to put it all together with the new springs and wait a few weeks and then see how much you want to cut the springs.
and an easy way i found out to roll the lip on the fenders...
everyone says either get the special tool or use a bat to "roll" them.
but i had my car torn apart so i layed my fenders on the ground on a moving blanket and used a plain ol' hammer to knock the lip down. and it didnt crack or ruin the paint (in my case, primer) on the outside.

Nothing's going to eliminate your rubbing shy of fixing the wheel/tire geometry. There's interference there; changing springs isn't going to make it go away. The first thing I'd try is rolling the fender lips, if it hasn't been done already. This will gain you 1/2" or so of extra clearance.
If that doesn't work, you're going to need to run narrower tires.
