your going to use a circuit breaker???You also need some type of relay and switch,either manual or temp comtrolled.You can grap ther power from either the hot side of solenoid or battery then to the switch,relay and then the fuse and then fan.
I agree - tap off the solenoid post instead of running wire to the trunk - running a long wire/cable would result in a small but needless resistance/voltage drop over that length of cable/wire... assuming, of course, that the cable to the solenoid from the batttery is appropriate.
I also agree with having both a fuse/circuit breaker and relay... with a dual fan you may want to look into the SPAL thermostat/relay that can regulate dual fan activity based upon engine temperature... this is reported to extend the life of the fan.
