Dash removal

Default Dash removal

Can anyone tell me if they have removed a 70 coupe non ac dash pad? I'm looking for some tips and tricks to removal and installation after i get it painted. Thanks.

Don't know if you mean the pad or the cluster but, either way, it's pretty straight forward. Haven't hahd mine on in quite some time but, you would need to remove the 4 "end caps" then there are screws under them as well as along the top (near the windsheild)...a couple more screws and the speedo cable and a wire "plug" will remove the cluster. Is that confusing enough?

just look around. everything is attached with screws, no real secret to it, everythings very straight forward.
