I've been hauling my kids (4 year old and 9 month old) around in the fastback for their whole lives. (I've got 3-point shoulder belts in the back.) My little girl has told my wife several times that "we need to buy Daddy a new car." But curious as it may sound, mommy always fails to see the humor... She thinks I'm making the kids do my dirty work. No - I won't be getting rid of the '66; but I sure won't turn down a Father's Day gift of an '05 either!

The child seats I use have a 5-point harness. So when my children rid around in my mustang I tell my wife: "Look, they have a 5-point racing harness. How much safer could they be". This point is lost on her. (Or maybe she is to just too smart for such juvenile arguments)

Had a black boss 351 once I called Earl because it was the color of oil. Big blocks never seem to get those sweet fluffy names however, you'll understand why as soon as you go to work on one :-)
