Good or bad, not sure.
So I pulled my car into the garage today, frustrated before I even started. It had the "dead" number two cylinder. So I take the valve cover off, and look, loosen up my rockers a little, and guess what I got... COMPRESSION, here the A$$ hole I took my car to to get everything lashed tightened them down way too much. So that was good. Then I'm looking after I start it, and realize, hey there is no damn oil coming up. Throw the handy dandy gauge on there to check how much pressure I'm getting.... NONE, new problem. I took the distributor off, here the oil pump shaft has disappeared. Not sure how long it has been gone, but everything seems to be ok with the car, but I'm not sure. I hope I didn't burn out any bearings, but only time will tell. I got a new oil pump shaft and will put that in tomorrow. I'm just ready for this car to run again. I'm in this class for the Marine Corps and this guy has a pretty nice 69 Camaro Z28 with a 350 who keeps talking so highly about it, but I'm sure he has nothing done but a stock build and it sounds weak, pretty unimpressed with his set up, but today when I was towing my car he jumped on it, and I'd just like to mess with him one day. Hopefully soon.
