Those look great! That's a big improvement in safety, and the sequentials look great on the 67-70 Stangs IMO.

Thanks for the post and the video. Makes it easier to know what to ask for this Christmas.

Oh and safety was a big issue for me. Not only did I want people to see my taillights but I did not want them to hit me and put my car back in the shop.
They are awesome man, you will not be disappointed. Thats funny, I almost bought a 69 before I found my 67 haha.

The kickpanels were in the car when I bought it. I wanna say its a kit from NPD that came with some pioneer speakers in it. They sound good, but I have zero bass whatsoever, naturally. My AM radio was sent out by the p/o to have the guts removed and upgraded to play AM/FM. The speakers are in a great location, totally out of the way. I'm looking into adding amp/sub in the trunk. Would like 6x9's but I dont want to hack up my divider/tray. Hope that helps!

You blocked out your plate in the pic's but in the video it is clearly visible, great looking tail lights tho. This is definately one mod I'm going to do to my car once I get it back together.

I'm curious, when you apply your brakes, do they sequence once then stay solid or just light up like normal ones would?

Also, they look clearly marked for left and right to me, right there on the left half of the board it says "LEFTRIGHT"

Nabster... When braking, they will stay solid just like your normal brake lights. But if your signal is on, that side will sequence, even if the brakes are on.
Hope that makes sense.

It seems like its unanimous but I also installed the sequential LEDs from Mustang Project about a year ago and have been very happy with them. Big difference and worth the cash.

+1 i think that more or less for people cruising for pics etc if someone comes across that pic randomly then they wont be able to see the tag. not that a tag is private esp if you drive the car in public :P

Haha same deal in Fla man...at least old people don't make up 85% of your drivers lol.

I was on the fence about getting them but what sold me was the safety factor, and the wattage. They draw almost nothing. I'm going to load test the car today with my ammeter and post what I got. To bad I forgot to check the old lamps first.
Drake or somebody used to make a 3-bulb incandescent version with a gnarly divider reflector shell. Stay away. Three 1157s in one reflector can melt your lenses if you're sitting in bumper-to-bumper long enough. Not an issue at all with the led version.
