Default T5 Shifter Relocation

I was just wondering if anyone has tried one of the shifter relocaters that companies like Mustangs Plus sell to help make the shifter location more comfortable. What I am curious about is how well it works as a performance shifter. Are the shifts crisp? Is there any weird play during 2-3 or 4-5 shifts? Any knowledge is greatly appreciated.
