the color is most likely just due to the lighting. They don't use stainless rod for mild steel; but I don't think it would hurt anything if they did?

Sorry for the delayed update, it's been super busy these last few months. Anyhow, here's the latest update:

The rear bumper has been narrowed, shaved, recessed, and flushed.

Here's a shot of the interior, namely the center console. Mike (the owner) really wanted a cup holder big enough to hold a big gulp, and sure enough, this one does.

Moving on to the front, the motor arrived and was installed along with the front sheetmetal

New inner fender panels were made to match up with the firewall. All hidden hardware was used to keep it clean, and the belt line wraps around along with the reservoirs.

New core support

A set of functional brake scoops were made, and will be finished off with a set of handmade chrome trim pieces

Here's a good shot of the work done to the front end. The entire inner trim peice was remade out of sheet metal and the new grill insert was attached. A new upper shroud piece in on also and I'll shoot some pics of that tomorrow.

Since the front bumper was worked over and moved up, the lower valance was remade to fit better

That's all for now, I'll shoot some more tomorrow.

Thanks for looking, and for a small fee, I can arrange sex with this car
