with "have to run this past girlfriend" i actually meant the post from rmodel "but your car will love you :P"
girlfriend sadly is not listening to me anymore when I buy new parts. She figured there's no end to it

Ya, it's better for them to give up now, on trying to fight us.

Luckily for me my girlfriend likes cars, and has a 69' Beetle she is restoring too.

I tell my wife that all of the new mod's are for "Safety Reasons". I don't think she buys it but she can't really argue either.

Best thing that ever happened to me and my cars was my wife asking to keep seperate bank accounts when we decided to get married. Boy that was a "Please not the briar patch" moment.

As far as the marriage ordeal, I'm pretty sure I'll want to share an account with my girlfriend (who will someday be my wife) However, I will keep an extra account for car stuff and just throw some money in every once and a while. Kalli, I may be a little late here but Im not so sure your are making the right choice by going with the Trick Flows. While the do make good power, the life of them isn't very long. The intake valve guides wear quickly due to the abnormal valve angle, and you should expect the life of them to be under 15,000 miles. Of you are ok with this, then by all means get them, otherwise, go with the Edelbrock Perfromer RPMs with the 190 valves. I have them on my 347 and they are awesome. They are a much more durable head and come from the factory with Helicoiled threads, which is a very nice benefit. Just my 2 cents worth.
