Shouldn't the bottom chrome strip go all the way to the rear wheel well? Both sides are the same.

looks like the wrong rocker molding, perhaps a 65 or 66 on a 68?

Either that or it's a poor aftermarket repo. Rocker molding on a 68 goes from wheel opening to wheel opening.

While you're shopping, pick up two quarter panel ornaments too (unless you like that shaved look).

Nice car. Good luck.

Yeah, I believe mine go all the way back. I'd have to check to make sure though, but I'm not at home atm...

You're missing the chrome trim around the outside of the wheel well. That could give make up for the space that you're getting that the back, if the front chrome was in place it would push that bottom piece back maybe a half inch to an inch and the back chrome trim would make up for the little space left over in the back.

Or maybe its for a fastback, are the bottom trims the same length?

I posted a pic of my 67 just for refrence.

There is no rear quarter side marker and quarter trim.

It has '67 hubcaps.

Musnicki is right, it's missing wheel well mouldings and the rocker moulding is mounted a little too far forward.

I have a few pieces of chrome on my car where they put the lefthand side strip for the windshield on the opposite side (upside down). It definitely does not look right. Having said that I love your car.

Carlos I like that red convertible you have posted with the chrome rims. Makes me want to get another mustang (only a convertible).

Chrome is the same length on both sides. This is a Standard model so I assume it didn't have wheel mouldings???? As for the wheel covers, they came with the car. Is there a possibility that Ford put 67 wheel covers on the 68? Where's a good source to go to find out what the Standard 68 convert should have on it?
