Default Looking for a part mentioned on here...

Ok, so I'm looking for a part that was mentioned on this forum, in this section. I do believe waffles had mentioned, but don't quote that. What it was was a complete front end kit, looked like aluminum, or something along that line. It was a complete set from wheel to wheel as far as front end goes, including disc brake kit. It was 13-14 hundred for it all. Anyone know where I can find this kit or something along those lines, as I've searched the forums and can't find it. Also, how much modification will this take if any? I thought I was pretty much direct bolt in.

It was a Mustang II kit, iirc, and it's far from a direct bolt-in. I requires quite a bit of cutting/welding on the front frame rails to install the upper coil spring support. I think the manufacturer is TCI, which should give you somewhere to start looking.

The only kits that are truly bolt-in are the Global West, TCP, Ron Morris, and similar coilover setups which use the top of the shock tower for the upper coilover mount. And even then, these kits don't include the brakes.

I mean it looks like it's one whole part, like in the picture everything is all together.

I agree. While the complete weld-in kits look nice, I'd rather have a TCP/Global West/Ron Morris coilover setup.

That's it 4reboy. I appreciate it. Now why is it said not to go with a M2 suspension? And if not go with that, then what?
