Cleveland engine
I'd be a little leery of some of the info here, make sure you are well informed before you jump and make a decision with bad Cleveland and Clevor info. I know you can build up a Clevor with your heads for a reasonable amount of money and have a engine that will raise a few eyebrows on the street and at the track.
World aluminum Windsor block from Jegs.... About $5,000
World Nodular Iron Windsor block from Jegs... About $2,500
If you are going Aluminum for the weight savings, I would consider buying the nodular iron block, then spending the 2,500 on a set of CHI 3V heads instead.
You have said that you have a good set of Cleveland heads that you like, so keep them if they are working for you and do the little bit of machine work to make the cooling work with a Windsor block.
Research everything for yourself, if you are going to use an after-market Ford windsor block from World or Dart, make sure you read up on Clevor engines, and perform the machine work necessary on your Cleveland heads to make the coolant passages work with the Windsor block, purchase the appropriate Clevor intake manifold and build up something a little different! You can get some really nice intake manifolds from CHI for about $500.00, and a water crossover for $190

Got all kinds of ideas now. But my initial question was answered. The engine is in great shape right now. I just wanted to know what there was available when it comes time to change things. I'm rather new to fords, hence why I'm asking.
