Default Flex plate/ Starter gear

I put an AOD tranny in my 66. The only problem i have is the original starter came from a smaller (less teeth). I have the starter that goes with the AOD. but it is a 2 wire starter. The OE starter was single wire. how do you get the 2 wire starter to work? Thanks

Is it a + and a -? All you would have to do is run a negative wire and ground it out.

No its not +/- . it has to do with solinoid. The solinoid on the two wire starter is on the starter.how do you by-pass fender solinoid, and go to the one on the starter?
