Unhappy Help please! Door trim/molding

We are getting ready to install the scuff plates on our 68 coupe but need to first buy the trim that goes on the back quarter panel edge on the body side (not on the door itself). From what we can tell, this should be cloth, felt, rubber or plastic.

To be more descriptive - if you were to tilt the front seat forward to climb into the back seat, there should be a trim piece that goes over the metal on the door opening. This would be something that covers where the rear quarter panel and the outer body meet.

I've spent hours researching and I can't find anything in the catalogs. Can anyone head me in the right direction? Thanks.

VirginiaClassicMustang.com sells windlace for $0.75 per foot, in case you don't need the 16 foot length Mustangs Unlimited sells.
