I installed the complete system into my 66. it was previously a 3spd. I need to add a return spring i think. when i let out the clutch the pedal sticks ans comes out slowly. if i put my foot under the pedal and tap it up it releases fine.

Do i need a return spring or is it just not adjusted correctly?

 

There's a slim possibility it could be misadjusted, but it does need a return spring if it doesn't have one.
