www.turbocity.com

They will custom build you a kit utilizing Ford parts. I'm getting my EFI kit from them.

If I drill a hole in my firewall for the retrotek thing, I was thinking about drilling out the passendger side Fire Wall pad plug hole. It's close to, but not directly behind the heater/ac box, and there is already a hole in the fire wall pad there.

I could run the cable to the glove box for the controller. Coil up any extra cable by the heater box.

The only thing that spooks me is the placement of the new fuel filter and pump. Look like they install it down on the underside frame someplace (looking at the Hot Rod mag article).

I'm guessing that I'd have to forego my temp light for the temp sensor for the EFI.

I just went with standard Ford EEC-IV myself.. It's cheap, and you can get a tweecer, and have infinite control.

The new issue of Modified Mustang has a whole article on EFI setups both OEM and aftermarket. Looks like a good article but I just got it Saturday and have not had time to read it.

I do subscribe so it's not on the shelves yet either.

In another week it will be though.

Retrotek get's the unit from professional products. The unit is the same size as a Holley DP. There is another company that makes a fuel injection system for Clevelands but it is almost 6k. I can't remember their name but if you do a google search you should find it.

How big is the Holley DP/Boss EFI. I don't have a Holley right now, and am concerned about the air cleaner.

99% chance that it will work with your existing air cleaner.

So, the nervous now is fuel pump placement. Looks like they attach it to the frame back near the fuel tank.

Do these EFi systems turn the fuel pump off when the engine isn't running so that fuel isn't pumped in case of an accident?
