Default Looking at a FB

My grandfather owns a 66 Sprint coupe and is looking for another mustang. Well he found a 67 FB for 9k. Needs some work and floor pans, V8. I'm going with him to look at it and it seems as though he is going to buy it. My dad might chip in and help. Told my dad I would trade my coupe for it. I'll post some pics when I get some.

I think he was saying that he would trade his coupe for the share his dad owns in the FB? Regardless , good luck.

For 9k, the FB should be pretty much there when it comes to rust right? Zero frame issues I would hope at that pricelevel.

For 9k I would trade my 67 equally and include all the things I have for it. The FB is for my grandfather if he buys it.

what makes you think that someone who is asking 9K for a fastback would trade for a 6cyl coupe? You can buy a nice 6 cyl coupe anywhere for 5K or less.

they might not. The price of 6cyl here are up. I paid 5500 for mine and my grandfather paid 4500. I had the passenger door hit and he had to have head work done and is replacing floorpans and interior.

ehh. i agree. no one in their right mind selling a 67 fb for 9k will trade for a 6cyl coupe, it could be a trailer queen, i wouldn't sell any fastback to trade for a 6cyl coupe. just not an even trade. 67 coupes are not worth 9k, thats the problem. thats like me wanting to trade my 70fb for a 69gt500. it won't happen.
