I happen to know someone that is related to this woman that was killed, really sad to hear about this.

Obvious that you shouldn't drive drunk but another caution would be if your car breaks down / has a flat or whatever it is worth it to call the tow truck or even ruin a rim driving on it to a parking lot off the road instead of trying to fix the car on the side of the road...especially in the dark.
