First i would like to say hello to all the members. This forum is fantastic and has inspired me to finish my mustang. I have been lurking for a while and reading the threads, i wanted to get my project started before i joined so i could get pics up and make my posts more interesting. Hopefully i will be able to update this thread in a timely manner so everyone can see the progression. I don't know if it will be as good as the other threads that show resto progress but i'll try. - Cheers

Project: 65 convertible, 302 (will post specs later on), 4 speed toploader, trac-loc with 3:80 gears, CRSP front brakes, SSBC rear brakes, street heat suspension kit from mustangs plus. Best of all zero rust.

Welcome to the forum. Nice car. That front corner looks real clean. I have always liked red and white on Mustangs. Do you plan to keep the color or change it?
Where did it come from that it is a no rust car?

Thank you fakesnakes and honeygoldcoupe, I plan on keeping the color combo. This is actually the second time i am working on this car. Body, paint, top, interior and light mechanical repairs were done back in 2001 in my senior of high school. I drove the car for a few years until the transmission and engine failed. It's been sitting in my garage ever since and i finally decided to get working on it and make some much needed improvements. The paint is still in good condition but i will most likely get it redone when i change to fiberglass hood, front apron and side scoops.

that looks like a great project! No rust definitely gives you a head start on everything... extra money saved in the pocket too. Those brakes looks fabulous and so does that engine bay
